Now Hiring: Ad Ops + Optimization Lead

The Position:

Criterion Global is a fast-expanding international media planning and buying agency currently seeking an Ad Ops + Optimization Lead. 

In this role, the AD OPS + OPTIMIZATION LEAD is responsible for creating, implementing, testing and trouble-shooting digital tracking initiatives based on client requirements, and is in communication with clients, internal planning, as well as vendors.

Required Experience

Min. of 3-7 years in:

  • Agency-side Advertising Operations – including required technical skills*
    • *Technology required (note: skills assessment required of qualified applicants)
    • Facebook Ads Manager (please note if Blueprint certified)
    • AdWords Certification (please note 2 specializations) + search experience
    • GTM + DTM + General knowledge of HTML and JavaScript, Client-Side Tagging
    • DBM / and/or other DSPs
    • Familiarity with 1st party data onboarding process
    • Knowledge of or experience with two or more of the following: Google Data Studio, Google 360 or Adobe Analytics (Omniture). 
  • Quantitative skills, a deliberate organizational process, + ability to “tell a story” through data.
  • Effective communication skills (in-person, email, and phone).
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities/tasks with a confident attitude

Minimum/required experience refers to years direct, full time experience specific to this role, not total years work experience.

Bonus Qualification: Fluency (written + spoken) in a non-English language. 

Responsibilities

The Ad Ops + Optimization Lead duties center on quality assurance:

  • Quality Assurance / Testing + Troubleshooting 
  • Manage ad tech rollout/launch pipeline and workflow 
  • Finding internal + external optimization opportunities
  • Learning new technologies + innovation

Skills/Capabilities

Success Criteria:

  • Knowledge of technologies outlined above + upcoming trends in AdTech/ measurement
  • Proven ability to learn new technologies and systems as the need arises.
  • Attention to detail + ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Establish and successfully manage implementation timelines and troubleshooting of
    known or suspected problems with tagging/tracking technologies
  • Able to handle multiple projects and clients simultaneously, and work under tight
    deadlines and have strong attention to detail.
  • Adaptive, nimble approach to problem-solving +“Ad Tech FOMO” – a need to always learn
    what’s on the horizon and willingness to take on a variety of tasks where needs arise.
  • Support team in building reporting infrastructure, streamlining troubleshooting / Ad Ops workflows to ensure tactics are aligned with client strategy/objectives.
  • Eloquently explain technical issues to clients, and navigate the path to their resolution
  • Assist account management tasks such as providing specs to creative partners, overseein
  • AdTech QA processes, assist in making optimization recommendations, managing day-to-day tasks and ad hoc projects, and contribute to the professional representation of agency both internally and externally.
