This Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Director to lead a multi-market Global Golf disrupter brand, with a particular focus on live events and ‘time-is-of-the-essence’ campaigns to drive ticketing and tune-in.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sports or event marketing, paid media planning and buying, and demonstrate exceptional project management and ability to work across markets, cultures and timezones.
This role requires a commitment to client travel both domestically and internationally up to 15x per year. Role may be hybrid, however EST or GMT strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of live event media planning and buying, ensuring all aspects are managed to the highest standards, from conceptualization to completion.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including client leadership, creative, digital, and PR, to ensure cohesive and successful media campaign outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and delivering beyond expectations.
- Travel to domestic and international events, ensuring exceptional media visibility, and client relations.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, contributing to the agency’s growth and reputation in the industry.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role within a media or marketing agency, with a strong preference for candidates with sports or golf event marketing experience.
- Proven track record with time-sensitive, intricate, large-scale media planning and buying – demonstrating outstanding project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Strong leadership abilities, with experience in managing and motivating vendor teams to achieve collective goals.
- Business development acumen, with a knack for identifying and pursuing growth opportunities.
- Willingness and ability to travel to both domestic and international events.
- Proficiency in media reporting metrics, ad tech, and project management tools and software.

Base pay of $105,000 -$125,000 USD per year offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including bonus or other awards, in addition to healthcare, educational, and/or other benefits, which may also be subject to eligibility criteria, such as for 401(K) participation.
