This Role

The Analista de Mídia Paga / Media Buyer will be responsible for executing and optimizing paid media campaigns in Brazil, with a strong emphasis on supporting inbound international advertisers that are new to the Brazilian market.

This role requires hands-on platform expertise, strong analytical skills, and a clear understanding of Brazilian digital media dynamics and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with Criterion Global's global strategy and planning teams to localize campaigns, manage performance, and ensure consistent, high-quality execution that meets all local market standards.

Core Responsibilities

  • Plan, activate, and optimize paid media campaigns for the Brazilian market
  • Execute media planning with an emphasis on local-market stations and publishers
  • Support inbound advertisers by developing locally effective planning compliant with Brazilian advertising standards and market-specific requirements
  • Navigate platform documentation, account setup, and verification processes required for Brazilian market access
  • Monitor budgets, pacing, and performance against defined KPIs
  • Conduct ongoing optimization, testing, and performance analysis
  • Prepare clear, accurate performance reports for global stakeholders
  • Coordinate with international strategy, analytics, and client teams
  • Ensure campaigns meet Brazilian regulatory standards, platform policies, and industry-specific advertising requirements
  • Maintain operational rigor across trafficking, QA, and reporting with adherence to local compliance protocols

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in paid media buying or performance marketing in Brazil
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of digital advertising platforms and their Brazil-specific requirements
  • Deep familiarity with the Brazilian media ecosystem and consumer behavior
  • Working knowledge of Brazilian advertising regulations, platform compliance requirements, and market entry considerations for international advertisers
  • Established processes for managing advertiser verification, documentation, and platform credentialing in the Brazilian market
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and performance-driven mindset
  • Ability to work independently in a contract-based, distributed environment
  • Strong communication skills; English proficiency preferred for collaboration with global teams
  • Comfortable supporting international clients entering Brazil and advising on market-specific operational requirements

Compensation, Payment & Contractor Status

To support an efficient and transparent review process, applicants are asked to briefly describe their preferred compensation structure (e.g., hourly, daily, project-based, or retainer) and their proposed rate or fee range, including currency. All engagements are offered on an independent contractor basis only and do not create an employment, partnership, or agency relationship. Compensation information is requested for planning and evaluation purposes and is non-binding; final terms will be subject to mutual agreement, defined scope, availability, jurisdictional and tax requirements. Where applicable, payments to international contractors may be made in the agreed local currency or USD, with any foreign exchange conversion handled at prevailing market rates through the Company’s designated payment provider.
